# How should Research meets Revenue be described?

## One line

Research meets Revenue is an curated co-founder matching event for deep tech: 15 researchers and 15 company builders, one room, one evening.

## Short

Research meets Revenue is a curated co-founder matching event for deep tech. Each edition brings 15 researchers (PhDs, postdocs, PIs) and 15 company builders into one room for a founder keynote and 1:1 co-founder speed matching. The next edition takes place on the Stanford campus on November 12, 2026,.

## Long

Most deep tech never leaves the lab because scientists and company builders rarely meet. Research meets Revenue changes that. It is a small evening built around one question: is your research a company? Researchers bring science worth building on. Company builders bring go-to-market, sales and operating experience. Through structured 1:1 matching, both sides find out in one evening whether they could start a company together. Past speakers include Dr. Pasha Shabalin (Marvel Fusion, €400M raised) and Dr. Johannes Woehrstein (mbiomics, €30M raised). The series started in Munich with TUM, CDTM and START Munich and comes to Stanford on November 12, 2026, hosted with the Stanford German Student Association.
